Results Vary
Please follow these guidelines before and after your peel.
For optimal results, take Avogen at least 30 days prior to your actual peel as suggested. Do not wet skin for 24 hours after peel application. Do not wax the skin for at least 30 days after peel.
After 2-3 days the skin will darken and tighten and begin to visibly exfoliate. Peel is completed in 4-5 days during which time you are completely functional. A brighter, more evenly pigmented, soft and healthy skin is the final result. For Clients with sun damage, the peel stimulates new collagen and increases the level of hyaluronic acid in the dermis. This accelerates skin regeneration and reduces the fines lines of aging. The process usually requires one full week from application for completion.
All other topical Vitamin A/retinoids products must be discontinued 3 days prior to Peel. Clients suffering from Herpes Simplex should obtain Physician's permission and take a course of oral Acyclovir (Zovirax) prior to Peel. Client should take an anti-inflammatory analgesic (e.g. Ibuprofen) with food at least an hour prior to the peel. A 72-hour patch test is required to avoid any allergic reactions.
Avoid direct UV exposure for about a week following the procedure, so adjust your social calendar accordingly. Stay out of the intense sun for at least 2 weeks and keep your body temperature cool for at least 2 weeks. Moderate sun exposure with proper sun protection and replication is strongly suggested. To achieve your best results, a series of peels is recommended about six to eight weeks apart until the desired result is achieved. The Peel is excellent for improving the appearance of your decolletage as well.
